We Are Dragonfly Investments

DFI was founded in 2013 with the objective of acquiring value-added assets in both the Residential and Commercial sectors. To date, our company has acquired over 200 residential and multifamily properties. In addition to that, Dragonfly Investments acquired over 5 million square feet of retail properties throughout the east coast and midwest.

Our Team

Our team consists of investment professionals with expertise across a broad range of disciplines – distressed securities and assets, control and non-control private equity investing, commercial mid-market lending and real estate-related investments.

Jason Morjain

Jason Morjain

Principal

Prior to his work with Dragonfly Investments, Mr. Morjain worked with Beacon Investment Properties. During his 5-year tenure, he became the Acquisitions Manager where he spearheaded the purchase of more than 3 million square feet of office buildings across the country. He then took over as the asset manager of all Florida properties in Beacon’s portfolio. Prior to his work with Beacon Investment Properties, he was a mortgage broker with City First Mortgage and an assistant property manager for Rok Enterprises. Mr. Morjain holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Maryland. He also holds a Florida Real Estate license and a Florida Mortgage Broker License.

Irving Weisselberger

Principal

Mr. Weisselberger is a third generation Real Estate Investor. For the past four years he has been actively involved in the underwriting and acquisition of residential and commercial real estate. During the economic downfall, Irving successfully purchased over $3 million of property through foreclosure auction at the courthouses in both Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. In addition to county acquisitions, Irving has been actively acquiring distressed properties from banks as short sale and REOs. Mr. Weisselberger holds bachelors degrees in both accounting and finance from the University of Central Florida as well as a Master of Science in accounting from the H Wayne Huizanga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. He also holds a Florida Real Estate License.

Investor Relations

Mrs. Quittner has worked with and still advises on a family portfolio which owns, manages, and operates over $100 million in real estate. While working with Dragonfly Investments, Julie has taken the lead project management for renovating and repositioning several residential and commercial properties. She is also the head of Investor Relations which includes putting together and sending out quarterly reports to all investors. Mrs. Quittner holds a Florida Real Estate license and has closed multiple commercial and residential transactions prior to joining Dragonfly.
